This reed has a thicker tip and a more flexible zone for sound energy to travel to allow vibration over a larger surface area with maximum elasticity than the Traditional reed. The JAVA green reed is by far the brightest Vandoren and reed making this reed perfect for jazz, pop, rock and R&B! Each box contains 5 new reeds - the cellophane may have been removed or partially removed.
