U S NAVY FEMALE WAVE STATUE- BRONZE ?? - LIMITED EDITION - 8 1/2" - This is a Limited Edition 8 1/2" figure made exclusively for the U S Navy Memorial to commemorate the service of women in the Waves during WWII. Originally there was a gold colored seal on the bottom noting the aforesaid information - sadly it has gone missing. I must note that Worthpoint calls this a bronze figure - it is heavy and it may be bronze but it seems to me more like another very strong material - so - I dont know. It is well done and quite a handsome piece, probably 50-60 years old. Signed on the edge of the base Fred Press - Out of an estate - buyer pays 9.95 safe bubble shipping and tracking in USA
