British CES Shovel For Ferret, Saracen, Etc Military Vehicles

This is the shovel that is part of the CES (Complete Equipment Schedule) for many British vehicles from the cold War era to Desert Storm. It is 37 inches long and is correct for Ferrets, Saracens and many others. The handle has a split shown in one of the pictures but is very solid and not rotted. The T handle is wobbly and will need to be secured. The blade to handle connection is secure with no movement. A previous owner painted it desert sand color which makes the markings hard to read but it is dated 1955 and has the broad arrow acceptance stamp on it.
