From the sellerThis is an antique industrial gauge manufactured by the Standard Gauge Manufacturing Company in Syracuse, NY. Materials: Features a brass casing with a glass face covering. Purpose: Typically used in industrial or marine settings, often for steam pressure monitoring. There is a small chipped area as you can see in the photos. Chipped are is not spreading by way of a crack. Rest of gauge is in very good condition for its age. The back shows a "U.S. Government Standard" label, indicating it was likely produced for government, military, or maritime vessels The face measures 8 1/4 inches
