Antique - CIVIL WAR Era - Confederate Texas Cavalry Star Bridle Rosette Brass

This remarkable antique piece of early American Civil War history was found at an estate sale along with many other antique bridal rosettes that did not have any military affiliation. My research comparing images and using AI indicates that it is an authentic bridal rosette used by the Texas cavalry during the Civil War. I have included a photo and description at the end from another site just as a reference. It does have dents and wear consistent with its age and usage.
