1932 WAR MOTHERS Wooden Gavel -WORLD WAR I, WW II Given to US from France

My great-grandmother’s mother-in-law was the last surviving member of the War Mothers group in Waukegan, Illinois. So the gavel used by the president of this group was left to her and then subsequently to me. The writing is “presented to war mothers by Mrs. Bradbury France, 1932. “. I believe this group was originally used to support soldiers in World War I, and then in World War II. My great-grandmother’s mother-in-law had a son who served in the army in World War II. The gavel is solid wood and is about a little over 7 inches in length. I wrap carefully and ship immediately. Please see the pictures or message me for more details.
