This is a very good original WWII US Marine Corps fighting knife. This one is blade marked "KA-BAR" and (small font) USMC. It's just over 12" long w/the blade just under 7". It's lightly sharpened w/an excellent edge, and most of the finish was removed leaving it bright. There's no rust or pitting. The guard is tight (with a bend) and the leather grip is in excellent condition. It has the 3rd type pinned pommel and it's also in great shape. This knife comes in the original leather sheath. The sheath has very minor wear and is also in excellent condition. A very nice original WWII USMC Kabar fighting knife. This would be a great addition to any collection.
