Offered is an original WWII 12th “Philippine” Infantry Division patch with a snowy back. In 1941, the division included the 31st Infantry (U.S.), 45th Infantry (PS), 57th Infantry (PS), and the 43rd Infantry Regiments, along with the 12th Field Artillery Brigade. The division fought heavily in the opening stages of the war in the Pacific. The soldiers were decimated and forced to surrender during the 1941–1942 Japanese invasion and defense of the Bataan Peninsula and Corregidor. Check the pics! Check my other auctions!
