For sale is what I believe to be an original WWII German made M42 helmet shell with Finnish leather liner and chinstrap along with liner rivets. The troops of Finland were equipped with helmets from a number of European countries including Sweden, Italy, Czechoslovakia and even captured Soviet helmets from the Winter War. The helmet is dent and crack free. It is stamped on the inside rim but not readable. It has old paint in a gray-green color. The Finnish leather liner is in good condition. The leather chinstrap is complete. It is in overall decent condition. Please see photos to further evaluate condition. The item pictured is the one you will receive.
