Description

From the seller
This dog tag is from a vet who was from New Mexico. He went to the Philippines in 1941 with the 200th coast artillery as a Staff Sgt. He was captured with his unit at corrector and endured the bataan death March. he spent the war at mukden pow camp. After the war, he remained in the army becoming a Colonel. This is one of the dog tags he had from his post war officers Service, as you can note from his serial number. A rare find to a great veteran in a desirable unit.
