From the sellerU.S. Army Signal Corps Aircraft Radio Receiver BC-733 One (1) used WW2 Signal Corps Radio Receiver BC-733. Supplied by Western Electric. Order No. 935-WF-42. This set was used as a very early ILS system and was fitted to most larger US aircraft in World War 2 (B-24, B-17, C-47). AIRBORNE RADIO RECEIVER is designed to operate at six fixed crystal-controlled tuned frequencies of 108.3, 108.7, 109.1, 109.5, 109.9, and 110.3 MHz. When tuned to any of these frequencies the receiver is capable of accepting CW radio frequency power, AM at 2 audio frequencies, amplifying and delivering it as audio frequency power to a filter rectifier network w the two audio frequencies are separated and applied to an indicator. Complete with DM-53-A Dynamotor and vacuum tubes. Untested and sold as-is.
