Currently available is this U.S. Army summer officer's service dress hat identified to a Captain Frankl who was a logistics officer in SHAEF under General Eisenhower. Worn as part of the officer's khaki summer uniform, this service dress hat is made in a size 7⅛ ( European size 57) made of khaki cotton with a leather sweatband, brown leather chinstrap and a 2 ½" (5.1 cm) brown leather bill.
