Couldn't be a nicer set no matter where you look. The four piece rod is like new, the soft cover and aluminum tube shows it's not brand new, it's been previously used, but then again are you buying it for the case and cover or the rod? The rod looks like it either has never been used or if it has, then it was well taken care of by the previous owner. I knew the previous owner, it wasn't me but the man was meticulous in maintaining everything he owned. You won't find a better set at this price.
