Description
From the sellerWomen's Building, State Fair Grounds, Sedalia, Missouri. Pin dish with transfer scene of the building with what appears to be playground equipment outside. Made in Germany. The building was constructed in 1910 and this dish was probably sold as a souvenir from 1910 to about 1915. Leaf design with a clock at the top and a towel rack design at the bottom. Gilt is rubbed and there is a very small flea bite on one of the points on the left side. 4" wide, 4 1/2" from top point to base, 1" deep. The building was designed to be a rest stop for women and children. Shipping weight less than 1 pound.
