From the sellerThe Road Link allows for a larger cassette range for 10/11 speed drive train rear derailleurs that won't accommodate one by itself. I bought it for a Shimano 105 R7000 drive train I wanted to use on a gravel bike before knowing that it was designed for use with 1x cranks. I wanted to preserve 2x for road riding. If more gears on your 1x front gravel bike, this is a great solution. Installed briefly but never ridden.
