From the sellerBates & Bacon was founded 1867 (with roots back to 1857) by Joseph M. Bates and George M. Bacon in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The pocket clip is marked PAT 9 22 03 (for patented Sept. 22, 1903), although the marking is well worn.
