From the sellerThe teeth were then lashed around the main pole to further secure the teeth. The splinting of the teeth into place using the small wooden runners is uniquely Micronesian unlike that seen in the Polynesian islands where the sharks’ teeth were placed into a groove cut into the weapon’s main shaft.
