Vtg ECKO Black Pull-Through Knife Sharpener & Short'ning & Ice Cream Spoon

These two items are vintage kitchen gadgets but just as useful today as they were in the 1950's. The black handled EKCO manual knife sharpener is marked CHROMIUM PLATED--EKCO--USA. It can be mounted to a flat surface by using the two holes on each side, but is usually hand-held. It's a very efficient tool. The aluminum spoon is marked SHORT'NING AND ICE CREAM SPOON. Every kitchen had one of these spoons when Crisco and other solid shortenings were used more than oil. It makes a great rice or ice cream spoon.
