The yarns are very soft and not itchy or scratchy. 100% new wool ~ made in Hong Kong (high quality) and Made for Hagemeister-Lert, Inc, San Francisco, California. Back in the 70s, you would see these hats everywhere on the ski slopes! Such a cool retro knit hat and still very practical for today! Preowned. Looks like new; no pulled yarns, no holes, no stains.
