From the sellerSergeant Badge 714 novelty metal pinback, this vintage 1950's sergeant's badge 714 was the badge number worn by Jack Webb's character Joe Friday in the television series Dragnet. The badge number was retired by the Los Angeles Police Department upon Webb's death in 1982. This 1950's pinback measures 1 1/2" high and 1" wide. Perfect new condition-mint. There are several different designs of this 714 badge and I could only find one other ebay seller with the exact same design as my pin (so is it scarce-hard to find design??). At any rate, my condition could not be better and my price is much less that the other seller.
