This is a very nice vintage wool fez from the Dramatic Order Knights of Khorassan, which is the ceremonial social/side order of the Knights of Pythias and founded in 1911. According to my research, A.R. Frey as the Imperial Secretary and the manufacturing of this fez by the Ward-Stilson Co. of Anderson, Indiana, (I beileve) dates this to the late 1920s, 1930s, or early 1940s. The tassell in intact (you may need to be the judge of this, but I'm not certain that the tassel is original; it COULD have been replaced, as I'm certainly no expert on fez tassels, though the actual fez does seem to be original).
