Vintage Taxco Mexico 980 Silver Malachite Pendant – Talleres de Taxco

Vintage handcrafted pendant from Taxco, Mexico, marked TAXCO 980 with the Talleres de Taxco horseshoe hallmark. Features a striking oval malachite cabochon with rich green banding set in a minimalist heavy silver bezel. This piece is crafted of high-purity 980 silver, a level used by Taxco silversmiths in the mid-20th century before the .925 standard became common. Measures approximately 2½ inches long including the bail. Excellent vintage condition with normal patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Stone is intact and polished.
