From the sellerSince it was made by "Aluminum Plumbing Fixture Corp." we would guess it is an aluminum fixture , but a lawsuit from 1980 states that Aluminum Plumbing Fixture Corp and Acorn Engineering Co (who bought APFC out) "were the two principle U.S. producers of heavy-gauge stainless steel fixtures.", so this unit could be cast stainless steel.
