Vintage Slovakian Hand-Painted Wooden Egg Ornament

This is a hand-painted Easter egg ornament from Slovakia, often referred to as a Kraslice. The egg is made of wood with a terra cotta finish and displays hand-painted white floral motifs accented with green leaves, mimicking traditional regional folk painting techniques. The motif appears on both sides of the egg. A burgundy satin ribbon runs directly though the center for hanging. The egg is 1-1/4 inches long and 1-inch wide. Perfect condition.
