Vintage Santa Ornament, Ball Base, VTG, Mid-Century Collectible

Vintage collectors will know more about this charmer than I do. I tried to gift you the clues you need in several angles so you will be able to see the chipped paint on nose, the type of sparkle material, and the red hat that has faded to orangey. I don't know what that black is on the bottom. Seems like it has been hand-painted. Maybe a glue of some sort? I do not know. I will free-ship this fella within three days of sale, inside the U.S. only, please.
