Vintage Mid-Century 2-Piece Cast Metal Tyrolean Alpine Hat Paperweight. Highly collectible, original 1950s cast-metal Tyrolean/Alpine hat desk novelty paperweight. This unique piece features a rare, modular two-piece design, complete with its original removable hat band and molded vertical feather casting. It features a classic textured crown and rope-braid brim styling.The underside highlights traditional post-war sand-casting production methods, featuring an unpolished inner cavity and a central factory mounting hole originally used for anchoring to a stone or wooden desk set tray. Very Good vintage condition with excellent structural integrity. No cracks, chips, or repairs.
