Vintage Red Metal Doll Case Wardrobe Steamer Trunk 16”Circus Motif Interior

This bright red metal doll trunk has a wonderful whimsical interior wall paper in a circus motif with clowns, monkeys with balloons, dogs jumping thru hoops, roller skating bears and elephants. It has a single drawer, a clothes rod and a tie for securing the clothes. This case is 16" x 8 1/2" x 8 1/4". It has a 3 1/4" swinging handle on top. It closes with two snap latches in fine working condition as are the two hinges at the back. It has some rust residue and scratches and scrapes. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition. I haven't found a manufacturer and I believe it was probably late 40s early 50s. Feel free to ask questions.
