Description
From the sellerup for auction is a plaque from data corporation commemorating the initial moonwalk for the United States Apollo 11 moon landing. The date recognized is July 20, 1969. Images featured on the plaque are Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins. Also featured in the image is the lunar module Eagle, on the moon with the astronaut on the ladder. This NASA mission was the first walk on the moon. In the upper corner of the plaque you can see the Saturn five rocket. This plaque was generated by Data Corporation. The piece measures 10 inches long, 8 inches wide and .75 inches thick. It is mounted on solid wood. There are some imperfections, on the corners. This is a wonderful piece of United States lunar exploration missions.
