Description
From the sellervintage original oil painting signed and framed by John W. Bentley. I believe this is oil on paper. The artist was my mothers' great uncle. The label on the back shows that it was a gift from Ada - my mother's grandmother, to my father - Richard Horn. The artist was based in Woodstock, NY, and was known for his winter snow scenes. This church is probably in that area, or perhaps in the Philadelphia area, where Ada lived. I remember this hanging in my grandparent's house in Philadelphia when i was young.
