Here is an original Emeralite lamp base with the square style base. It adjusts in 2 places. The knuckle adjustment at the top needs a screw with more thread so it tightens down appropriately. Currently there is a screw that is not tightening the shade holder at this adjustment point. Only need a different screw that fits better. This is a simple fix. It needs a socket also. The base has its beautiful original patina and Emeralite label. It does need a good cleaning and rewiring.
