Vintage Mid-Century Norwegian Forged wrought iron trivet

The item you are viewing is a vintage Norwegian Forged wrought iron trivet. The trivet is approx. 6" in diameter. The design is beautiful and the feet are narrow and elegant The underside of the trivet reads, "Norway", and the center of the trivet has a maker's mark. See photos for details and condition of the item. It is believe to be a Jotul scrollwork trivet. The craftsman uses C-scrolls and circular ring collars. This is suspected to be from the early to mid 20th century. Possibly from the Thiele Foundry, however is not confirmed. Thank you for viewing.
