…… It took as a bit of searching but we were finally able to identify the artist's signature on the underside of this vintage Mid-Century Ceramic Lamp. Fratelli Fanciullacci was a highly prolific and collectible Italian ceramics manufacturer founded in 1862. Famous for their expressive Mid-Century Modern pottery, they combined traditional Tuscan techniques with bold, sculptural forms, textured lava glazes, and whimsical sgraffito patterns. ... Handmade from pottery, this lamp depicts a stylized lady and is decorated with bold, hand-painted green, black, and red wavy glaze lines that wrap around the entire body. Her elongated arms form graceful handles on either side, while her expressive face and textured hair give the lamp a distinctly whimsical 1950s design.
