Vintage McCalls Magazine January 1935 Issue Neysa McMein Cover Artist. I think Neysa McMein, the illustrator, did most, if not all of the covers for McCalls in 1935. She was honored with a US Postage Stamp in 2001. Good copy with printed subscription address. A few nicks and scratches. Bright colors. A one inch tear on the front cover and a 1.5 inch tear on the back cover. Small amount of water damage to the bottom of the spine. Some pages inside feel bumpy but it doesn't affect the pictures or the colors. The girl on the cover just happens to be my mother-in-law. She was a young model in NYC in the mid 1930's. Enjoy!
