Description
From the sellerVintage Alidade surveying tool. -It is a straightedge with a sighting device parallel to the edge. -It is used with a plane table to sight distant objects and draw lines on a map to determine their location or direction. -Brass, which was common for vintage and antique surveying instruments. -Stored in Leather case Used by an Architecture student in the 60s. Case is missing tab closure. Brass with natural patina and some chipping on one of the sights.
