Vintage Japanese Orange Plastic Fishing Ball

This is a vintage Japanese fishing float type of buoy typically used to keep fishing nets from sinking.It features a weathered orange, rigid plastic ball encased in a knotted rope net for hanging.These are often repurposed as maritime-themed decorations for beach houses or coastal spaces.Similar nautical markers were manufactured by companies like Hi-Zex Sunshine Kako or Musashi. This ball was discovered and removed off of a California beach.
