Description

From the seller
2 pc set by Casa Vinicola Boccaccio Barsottini. novelty alcoholic beverage decanters made to hold Italian table wine (like Vino Rosso or Vino Rosa). The birds' heads double as removable stoppers.Origin: Crafted in Italy out of glazed ceramic/earthenware. pheasants still have their original vintage tax stamps/seal labels intact over the pour spouts. These circular paper labels are the official Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) import tax stamps from the late 1960s. Having these stamps present and uncut indicates that the decanters were never officially opened from the top, which is a major bonus for collectors who value completely original packaging.
