Vintage Harptone / Standel Model 420 Guitar Project - Sam Koontz Design

Up for auction is a rare Harptone Model 420 thin-line hollow body husk, manufactured in Newark, NJ. Purchased as part of a collection of Sam Koontz. guitars. This project is not labeled or serial numbered. There is significant binding deterioration on the headstock and heel. Orange peel on the back of the headstock it I don’t see a break or repairs. It has the zero fret. Fretboard looks Brazilian to me, but I’m not sure. It has some nice figuring in the rosewood. Some paint missing on lower bout. USA lower 48 only. No returns. This is an American made vintage guitar husk project.. Thanks. Sold strictly “As Is” as I have described it to the best of my ability. I have been selling on eBay since 1998.
