From the sellerBeautiful piece of antique china by Nippon. This is a hand painted butter dish with the insert included. This is made to put ice in the bowl and put the pats of butter on the insert to keep the butter cool during your dinner! Very pretty floral pattern hand painted on a glazed bowl with gold trim. Measures 5" wide x 1 1/2" tall without the handles. No chips or cracks. Only very slight fading of some of the gold, which is due to the age.
