Vintage Hand Painted & Carved Tribal Shield 69.5"x15.0” Papua New Guinea Photos!

This large tribal shield from Papua New Guinea is a true work of art. Measuring 69.5" H x 15.0” W, it is made from wood and natural fibers that features vibrant multi-color designs that reflect the culture of the Pacific Islands & Oceania region. It was purchased in the early 1960’s by my grandfather in Papua New Guinea. As I am not an expert, I have posted several photos for interested buyers to assess the piece themselves.
