From the sellerThis 1950’s era Schildkrot Tortulon (turtle marked) doll is made of celluloid and belonged to a woman who grew up in The Netherlands, who kept her until the day she died. The doll bears the turtle marked #29 on her back and is approx 11 inches long. She wears her original dress and felt coat. The underpants appear to be hand sewn. She also comes with white socks and baby blue Maryjane shoes that are marked “Cinderella” on the bottom. She is in remarkable vintage condition; limbs are attached but strings have loosened a bit with time. A charmer.
