Vintage Fyr-Fyter Wooster Brass Hose Jacket Firefighter Equipment Department

Here's a vintage Fyr-Fyter Wooster Brass hose jacket. I'm not positive on the composition, but the housing appears to be cast aluminum and the clamp mechanism cast iron? It clamps up as it should and could probably go back to work! That said, what a neat display or conversation piece... This is a used piece of equipment that has lots of wear, patina and scratches. It looks like the prior department had a lot of leaky hoses... because this has seen a lot of use! Who knows, maybe it could go back to work? From the fire department - I was told that this works as it should - but that they were replacing some used equipment with new. Please look closely at the pictures for condition (I do not have the ability to independently test these).
