I purchased this in 1980's to early 1990's 1 5/8" diameter .35 oz each Clip earring reflective of the old Coin / Medallion trend of the time period I believe the center reflects a Roman gentleman (I tried to read the letters - IMPDIOCL... I asked Google & got Empedocles for what it's worth) obviously it's not old but I was curious to see if they used a real person (any way, the center "Medallion" has been aged to pretend to be an old piece that has been mounted in a brighter newer metal ) I can't find any marks in good condition. I don't see any signs if wear
