Vintage Dutch folk costume jacket blouse Marken island handmade red wool antique

Traditional woman's blouse from the island of Marken, Netherlands. Made of felted red wool cloth with yellow embroidery along the seams. The blouse is about 70 years old and an original from the village. This would have been work as part of the local folk costume, layered with many other garments as shown in the last photo. The blouse is in very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age. The most noticeable damage is slight fraying at the back of the collar that is shown in the photos. The blouse measures 20" between the underarms, 19" across the bottom, 19" long, and 17.5" sleeve inseam.
