From the sellerIt is marked 809138 Reg. on the base and stamped in green on the inside “Newport Pottery Co England.”. Clarice Cliff was designed by A.J. Wilkinson and is the earliest recorded British pie funnel. A.J. Wilkinson took over Newport Pottery in 1920, and in turn, Newport Pottery was taken over by W.R. Midwinter in 1964.
