Description
From the sellerThis vintage celluloid pocket mirror has an image of the S.S. De Witt Clinton, which was a 19th Century steamboat plying the Hudson River in New York from New York City to Albany, the state capitol. It was named for the governor of New York State. The mirror is quite rare. There are no discernable quality Issues on the image on the front, and the mirror is in overall good condition, taking into account the small desilvering spots. It measures 2 5/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall. This rare pocket mirror would be a great addition to any celluloid mirror collection and is perfect for display. Made in the United States, this mirror is a nostalgic piece of Americana that harkens back to a very different time.
