I have a very nice vintage Penn no.9 here that was just completely serviced and new 80lb braid loaded. I bought it second hand and used it for one weekend in fresh water. I’ve had several models of these over years and this one is ready for whatever you want to throw its way. It is difficult to see but it had something small scribed into the side covers at some point that was sanded or filed off but in no way affects the performance or quality of the reel. You won’t be disappointed!
