Vintage Cast Iron Floor Register Stove Pipe Collar Adams Co. Dubuque, Iowa

This is an antique/vintage cast iron stove pipe collar or floor register, manufactured by Adams Company in Dubuque, Iowa. It has a patent date of 1897, and measures 15.5" to 15.75 inches in diameter. It served as a decorative cover for stove pipe flues passing through ceilings or floors with some designs including a rotating damper to control air flow. A little research tells me that this is a two part cover which I pictured. Please note I see on the leaf part, it has a missing leave. Didn't notice that at first as it doesn't take away from the beauty of it. Thanks for looking.
