Description
From the seller"Carnival chalk" refers to chalkware figures given out as carnival game prizes during the first half of the 20th century, especially during World War II. They were later replaced by stuffed animals. This Charlie McCarthy figure is about 16” tall. He is wearing a black hat, red shirt, blue jacket, yellow pants and black shoes. The figure is in very good condition. It shows some wear but has no cracks that I can see.
