Description
From the sellerThis is an unsigned brass metal box with a hinged lid. The inside is clean white enamel. If it had sections, we would think it was a pill box but since it is empty, it was probably for trinkets or matches. The hand painted lacquered art on the lid is beautiful and detailed, but is also chipping. With a magnifier it looks like there was another painting underneath. Check the photos. The yellow lovebirds are painted carefully but the one on the right has chipping damage to the face.
