Vintage BOROLYPTOL Glass Bottle 1800s Apothecary Rx Pharmacy

This vintage BOROLYPTOL glass bottle from the 1800s is a beautiful piece of apothecary and pharmaceutical history. Made by the PALISADE MANUFACTURING COMPANY, it has a clear color and was produced in YONKERS, NEW YORK. This bottle is a perfect addition to any collection of antique bottles and jars, and is particularly unique due to its association with the medical field and pre-1930 time period. BOROLYPTOL was marketed as an ideal antiseptic and germicidal fluid for internal and external use. This flat glass bottle with rounded shoulders, narrow neck, and pronounced lip would have had a paper label and cork closure. Bottle measures 8” x 3” x 2”. Found buried in Brooklyn NY.
